“You have the Power - Will You Use It?"
Presented by Lee R. Lambert, PMP, CEO, PMI Fellow
The Project Management Institute’s recent shift from “Soft Skills” to Power Skills in the Talent Triangle isn’t just a rebranding — it’s a call to action. To truly lead successful projects, project managers must go beyond data, tools, and technology. They must develop the skills that influence, inspire, and drive decisions.
Drawing on over 50 years of project management experience, Lee R. Lambert makes a compelling case for why Power Skills are the key to turning information into action. No matter how advanced your systems or how detailed your data — including AI-generated insights — successful outcomes still rely on people who can analyze, communicate, and lead.
This high-impact session will focus on three essential Power Skills every project manager must master:
-
-
- Communication
- Conflict Management
- Negotiation
-
You’ll gain practical insight, proven strategies, and timeless wisdom from one of the industry’s most influential voices. Because at the end of the day, tools don’t deliver projects — people do.
